How long can S$40 on my ezlink last me? Each trip to work costs me S$1.11, per day @ S$2.22, therefore, I can last 18 days..

I have S$22 in my wallet right now.. hahaha Lunch is freaking expensive at Raffles Place. I shall pack food to work from tml onwards and bring ONE apple so I won't feel hungry so easily. Shall make spag for tml. Perhaps I can ask if Kor wanna send me to work tml. Since the roads should be unblocked after the race tonight. I can save on transport fee!! HAHA but most likely he won't send me to work.


And my Xiao Bai is still at Vpost waiting for me to collect her. The shipping is sooo X @ S$66+.. I miss her but I can't afford to bring her home now. I have 2 weeks to decide before they decide to charge me additional "rental" fee.

Sat I was soo busy, out to teach K, back to Post office, out to teach Q, back and glad the parcel is here and spent the time packing, met G for lunch, went OFFICE to study then went PS to meet G and home. I wanted to take a cab home so I can reach home in 5 mins from Park Mall but G stopped me.


G: You have no $, don't waste $, your bus stop is right in front of you and your bus is so fast.
Me: But the taxi stand is also right in front of me, and the cabs are in q.
G: There are ERP Charges, city charges. Don't waste money, you have no $
Me: But I am very very tired.
G: Your bus is very fast. You have no $.
Me: Ok.. *But I looked at the taxi stand and cross the road to the bus stop*


Her bus came and she left. Not long after, she TEXTED ME!!!

"Is your bus here or did you take a cab?"

My bus came and I went up. The msg is priceless.

That's what friends are for. And that's my BEST-EST FRIEND!!!

Late at night, I was surfing F21. I asked Grace if she wanted anything so that we will share the shipping. After 1 hour of clicking, discussing and adding items to the cart, I was at CHECKOUT, keying in my details etc and Suddenly I stopped and think. I think I do not have $ for all these now. Despite that I was "buying" work clothes and I chose those that were relatively cheap and afforable. But still, I closed the screen and told Grace about it. She understood and said it is ok. She is my good-est friend.


Endure and I will succeed.



I have a test coming Tue, good luck. Shall rest and help Paul complete his Project today.


*PS: I have savings but I really don't wish to touch the 2 savings a/c. One is meant for our future, one is meant for super emergency. So now, I have to bear with edited *S$100* in the regular a/c with S$22 in my wallet and S$40 credit on my ezlink card. I can do it!

First Week of Work-Training

There are four of us in this batch and four other seniors join us for this training. Our trainer is awesome, always find ways to explain to us. Lecture starts on the very first day of training immediately, it was fun learning sooo much about this product that I will be doing.

On the 2nd day of training, I took the bus to work, left house at 8am, but i reached office only at 9am! The 30minutes journery lasted 40 minutes. I was so stress due to the jam, a little lost but found my way and reached office at 9am sharp. Trainer told me never to take bus in the morning. HOD came in for introduction and half way thru the lecture after lunch, there was a launch for a new product and we were called to attend the introduction. So this is how things happen, everything is immediate. I had lunch with Li Jie. I stayed back to study for the test on the next day. Yes! Test is immediately on the 3rd day of training. Trainer was so nice to stay back with me and A, while I asked many many questions and stimulated many examples to make sure I understand.

I went home to read up more infor online, though limited, I revised the main features. Slept at 12mn. Revision follows by the 2 hour Test. After lunch, the lecture for part 2 starts. This is where the fun begins. Its learning abt the system. The next test is next Tue! Had R&R, lots of fun, self intro for newbies, they had a mini F1 Race and updates abt Oct's events. I like the culture in my company. Events are conducted monthly. So for Oct, there will be a chalet, brisk walk, course -wine or makeup and Free Breakfast for 2 Mondays. Last but not least, Theme Day - Colors. We have to dress up in Color Theme for Friday. And I love Fridays! It's Casual Day. I can wear dresses on weekdays as well. Happiness! Can't wait to wear all my collection of dresses.

I passed the 1st Test with 91%. A little careless mistake here and there. I will work harder! The passing mark is 85% and anything below that, Retest or Fire! Yes Yes, It is that strict in our company. But we are the Best in Singapore. It is better to work hard now then to make mistake during work. I will work super duper hard!

We hear the F1 cars practicing in the afternoon. SOO Loud. I saw part of the 1st race tonight before I left home at 7pm. I am enjoying myself, though it is very tiring and intense. I have been waking up at 6.45am because I am so excited about work. I eat my breakfast and leave home around 8-8.15am.

I look forward to learning more about system. Heard that the toughest part is the last part when the procedures come in. I am going back to office to self study this weekend! Haa... Loving work!

When work starts, I have to work on Sat for 1/2 the day. Hence I need to reschedule the lessons for K and Q. Work schedule is based on 2 weeks of Mon to Sat (1/2), followed by 2 weeks of Shift = Any 2 days OFF. Hence I am required to work even on Sat/Sun/PH. But I will get weekday off. Anyway I am ok with it. I can go shopping on Weekday when everyone is at work.

So when she told me that, I was a little unhappy for the request and thought she should wait for me to give them. And my plan is to give them S$200 each for every month. Nevermind, I shall give pa S$200 on my first pay and nothing for mummy! But getting the Longchamp Bag that will cost me the same amount.

But on a side note, I think my job is quite slack and I do not need to meet anyone, so perhaps I can dress down. Shall monitor the dress code of the staff in the office..

I have been soo excited that I am waking up between 6-8am yesterday and Today.

Best friend came over on Thursday and we packed my wardrobe, particularly the Bag corners. And my accessories / beauty corner. I cleared out 5 bags of junks and now both spaces look so neat now. Using the 2 large boxes from Selfridges, I packed my bags into 2 categories - Never use and Seldom Use. They are filled and the rest of the bags are out on the shelf as Always use. I shall find a day to sell those in the Never-Use-Box. I left a space for the parcel that is arriving from the US and promised to keep just 15 bags. The rest have to go. Self-control!

My wardrobe has more space for more clothes BUT.. I shall be good. (:

I was given an immediate job offer at the last round of my interview. I had to give her my reply immediately - Now or Never! So I asked to give me 10minutes to call the agency to verify some details and she said ok. Soo the first person I called was PAUL!! Then I called YOG immediately to ask if I get that job and she refuses to tell me, asked me to wait for the call next week. Too bad then, I decided to take up OCBC due to the stability.
