in the midst of rushing assignments and meeting deadlines, i get to enjoy the peaceful days at home all alone by myself.. i'm glad that i have this little break to breathe and do my own work without any restrictions.

met up with edwin the other day in sch for lunch as he was there for some work. we were chatting about sch, his soon-to-be-born little baby boy, my graduation, life, universal studios in sg, his phd program etc.. and we ended with the topic of a graduation trip.. i told him that i had no plans for a trip.. i can't plan schedule in advance as mr boyfriend's work is shift based and he doesn't want to take leave.. oh well.. sometimes i hope i can have a new boyfriend who can give me his weekends each week so that i do not have to count his shift work every now and then to predict when is the next meet up. i did mention abt wanting to go on a trip in may with him but he kept telling me to discuss only in april. oh welll..

anyway edwin was telling me that he had 50,000 + krisflyer points but as his wife is due-ing so, he can't go on a holiday and so i suggested him to sell it away. he stared at me and i was so stupid that i shld him for an offer. then he laughed and said, "i am looking at u." haa. i laughed.

he got me excited and agreed he would sell me for S$200 and i am to pay for all additional taxes. he kept emphasing on how i should use these points and fly business class to japan or hongkong and stay in the best hotel to enjoy high life for one week.

i got a little excited and after lunch, i pop by the library to check out the website. guess what? Krisflyer is having a 10 year promotion, selected flights at 50% off points and all other flights at 25%...

i was looking thru the list for the 50% promotion and i saw LONDON!!! i immediately thought of CHANEL, H&M, LongChamp.. ahhh.. happiness.

i did a calculation and i only needed 35000 points after the promotion. taxes + charges are around S$475 recently.. which means i only had to pay S$675 for a ticket to LONDON two way by SQ.. yuppie..

i called up the CS and checked, i had to add my name to his list which is FOC but he would like me to remove my name immediately after the trip and that will cost either 3000 points OR US$30. fair enough.

so i texted paul.. and asked, he did not get pretty very excited..

anyway i returned for my fyp meeting and told davina and limei, they got excited too and told me it's a super good deal and i should jsut go for it. but i need a travel partner and i don't think my parents would let me travel solo.. ahh...

the evening i went for a drama centre gathering.. roy was there and i casually asked if he is free in may and would like to go to LONDON, and he said he is going.. haa it's fated right? he paid S$1200++ for air fare by cathy and is going solo but meeting a friend for a couple of days in LONDON. i asked if i could tagged along and he said ok. as long as i am ok with staying in the same hotel room with him that has a very small bathroom. i told him np :)

to be safe, i asked carene too, she got excited as well and i told her to check with her dad if she could use his points.. just in case paul doesn't wan to go with me, then carene is next on the list if not it would be roy.
