Wednesday has always been a fun day. The day will start with lessons with Ethan at Meng Garden @ Lloyed Rd = Caroline's House. However, Ethan has been done with fever for the past few days, hence I do not have to wake up so early. Caroline has 3 sons - Ethan (Pri1), Ewan, (3 years old - the boy on the left) and Evan (about 1 year old - the baby on the right). While, I am gonna be their teacher (academic + music) for at least the next 8 years.
After lunch, I mentioned about going to Haji Lane and she said today is a good day to go there since there's no sun. (Both of us hate the sun, we carry an umbrella each everytime!! typically tai tai haha oops!) As there was no parking lot available, she dropped me off and went to search for parking lot. It felt nice walking along the shop houses. I took less than 20 minutes to walk down the entire Haji Lane and after I'm done I called her. She came and drove into Haji Lane. Trying to buy some ties that were on sales for $1 for Mary Jane (Her maid who is going back to Cebu, Tagbilaran - she is super nice to her maid!! Rebonded and highlighted her hair, pay for her airticket, gave her 40Kg of clothes, ordered trophies and jersey for the village's Basketball match and changed S$600 to Pesuo ).
I woke up at 7++am today but decided to leave my cozy bed @ 11.30am. Crap a little with my parents before i settled on today's attire (White Diesel top with my mng 3/4 jeans n a black belt). Went to shower and ate my brunch. Today the specific Garang Gunung Uncle came and we sold all the newspapers accumulated from upstairs and downstairs for a total of $5!! Since young, I am always the one in the family to get to keep the money from the sales of newspaper. Reason being I'm the youngest in the family (when we were living upstairs with Grandparents, my parents, my kor n jiejie and uncle.) Packed my bag and ready to leave the house but Mum suddenly said, "I brought down the newspaper from upstairs but you are going not reading." Since it was still raining, I decided to take my time and sat down to skim thru two days of Straits Times. While Mum ironing my clothes and Dad fixing the TV (from upstairs) in his room and BROKE one photoframe!! Mum said to him (translated from Teochew), "Sometimes you are so capable, sometimes you are so bad at stuff."
Caroline called and told me to that Ethan was cranky so we decided to cancel today's lesson but she will pick me up for lunch at Besar Market for The Super Delicious Fish Soup, Bread and Tea-C.
If you know, Haji Lane is the narrowest road in Singapore and Caroline's car is a SUV. She parked her car at the entrance and went to get the ties. But one car suddenly appear behind and die die also want to go into Haji Lane. Carol asked him/her to reverse but that driver refused. So, I had to carry an umbrella and helped Carol check the sides to make sure that she is not going to scratch her car. ( she scratched her car 3 times in 2 weeks last month!!!) Ok, it was very challenging for both of us, as we have to slowly make our way out that super narrow Haji Lane with 5 cars packed along the side. She was SUPERB!!! SKILLED!! The car made its way out of Haji Lane with no scratches. Good Job, Caroline!
As for Haji Lane, I will return one fine day and take my time to look for treasures! =)

Wednesday evening is usually spent @ Ulu Pandan CC for rehearsal with SWSPE. We will be having our concert on 8 July 2007, Sunday @ Ulu Pandan CC Auditorium.
Today we rehearsed the piece Concerto #2 for Marimba - Movement 2. I love this piece! Really nice. =) Usually, Dennis will say a lot of funny things to me. But somehow he acted normal today. Only that when I was checking the notes on the scores, he suddenly appeared beside me and his head was beside mine!! Scary! Today, he said that I am quite accurate with my aiming of the notes. I felt good hearing his words as I have not been touching the instruments for at least 6 months.
My left knee hurt as I was bending my knees most of the time, balancing my whole body on my left knee with my right foot stepping the pedal. Next wed shall try to straighten my legs and use my hands to control the touch of the notes.
A tiring but wonderful Wednesday.
