Taipei Day 4

it was a slacking day, as prof samuel had a meeting scheduled in the afternoon, he brought us for brunch at Xi Men Ding.. Most shops were not open yet.. hence, i couldn't shop. Anyway I felt bad shopping with 3 other adults waiting for me.. so i din shop much..

In taiwan, motorcycles have the right of ways, they can ride on small lanes, n even those alley like what we haf in bugis village!!

I was told by Prof Samuel that this is the famous Oystel Mee Sua in Taipei.. People had to stand, squat to eat.. the q was about 8 pple when we finished lunch at abt 12pm

After lunch, Prof Samuel dropped us a Wu Fen Pu to shop.. n i managed to get 1 blouse, 1 baby doll dress, 1 3/4 pants, 1 pair of shoes and a bag. The weather was too hot and after 2 hrs, we decided to go back n slp since I spent all the money already.. I'm delighted with my Taipei Trip and may return BUT defin NOT DURING SUMMER.. I will totally melt here lor..

And so.. off to New York tml.. Hurray!

Taipei Day 3

prof samuel brought us out today n according to him.. this is the BEST soya bean drink.. but i prefer the one jeremy brought us to.. cos it's sweeter

we visited the national palace museum aka "gu gong"

my fav activity in the musuem was to go around n collect the stamps.. i was "fighting" with uncle for the stamps lor.. zzz

lunch was at Yang Min Shan (Mountain), nice food n fresh air. It was at least a 2hr journey and i was sleeping until we reached this place..

it was jus too hot, so i did not walk to the end to see this rock.. doesn't it loook like a face of the woman?

We went to Ji Long for dinner and a walk. It's a few hours drive.

Day 2 was a lighter day as we did not eat as much as yesterday..

Taipei Day 2

jeremy brought us around today n in short Taipei is a super duper HOT country during summer, not for ME. Luckily, we were droven around if not i would haf melted.. We spent the whole day eating lar.. and it started with the MOST famous (accordinging to Jeremy) Soya Bean Drink in Taipei..

n we went to visit Taipei 101.. nth much, all branded stuff, nt interested.. i like flea markets. jeremy was very nice, he brought me to the bookshop to get my chinese books..

Next was the super duper delicious "FRUITS ICE SHAVE".. best eaten on a hot hot day.. yummy! one of the staff says they haf a stall in Sg.. mus go find out..
