This beautiful day fell on a Sat. As Ms Tay had to teach the 3 lovely students in LCMS early in the morning, she met dearest Paul at Novena after class. We got FOUR Taro from BK and headed to Shaw Plaza for a nice and simple lunch at Suki Sushi. 99cents per normal plate.. haa.. Then we went home to catch Smurfs Season 1 on my lappie before both of us fell aslp.. Then Paul helped me display the Movie Smurfs 2009 on my rack.. I scared him by telling him it takes hours to put the Smurfs into the rack due to the tiny smurfs on the top shelf.. But He did it with ease..

The Fried Hokkien Noodle

The noodle is quite dry, the chili isn't spicy enough for me. I had only TWO prawns on my plate, while Paul got FIVE prawns!! Paul likes this fried prawn noodle, while I still prefer the Whampoa's Singapore Fried Noodle.. Wet and Spicy Chili!

Oh Remember to order the Coconut Drink, it is refreshing and cooling!

I always thought that you are my role model. A role model of true love. A role model of a Happy Family. A role model that I wish to have. But today I realised that everything is just a dream. Everything is not as true as it seems.

After 23 years of watching, learning and dreaming, I found out that your love is worth less than $20.

U were panic, U were worried, U were anxious. But not about her. Rather u were panic when it is going to be 7am soon. At 5.30am, you started calling me. At 5.45am, u called again. At 6.13am when u saw her the first time, u did not ask how she was, u did not look at her properly, u did not ask what happened. All u asked was to go home straight away. My heart sank. It broke. Home is so near. Home is only 5 minutes away. U could have left at 6.45am but u chose to leave at 6.14am. What is the hurry? Why the rush?

Yet she spoke for u, yet she said it's ok, yet she said it was not ur fault, yet u chased me home.


I chose to stay. I am not being childish, I am not trying to fight back with him. I only wanted u to get settled before I can leave peacefully. Only after hearing what Dr Kevin said, I was relieved.

I switched off the lights, returned the pen and walked out at 6.43am.

I walked home carrying the jacket that was stained with your blood, walked down the long slope. Thinking.

I was hungry and I felt my body fighting back. Perhaps it was a way of punishing me. I couldn't walk straight. But I held the jacket closer and walked home.

I reached the market and got your favorite food.

I reached home at 7.16am.

U were asleep. U heard me returning home. But u did not ask abt her...



I asked myself, how much is love worth?



Now, I realised it is worth less than the $20. Less than a car coupon.



I promised I will make up for her.


I promised I will love her more than u do.



I begin to hate u.

Happy 19th Month Paul



It isn't easy to go out with someone who is on shift work. Having to accommodate his schedule and squeeze out a weekly date can be exciting yet rushy.. There were times where I secretly stay up till very late to do my work so that we could go on a date or a quick dinner. Or give up my rest time to spend time with him. I did not regret doing so. All I want is to be able to spend some quality time with him.

He has his rules and reservations. It is impossible to spend time relaxing at home watching a movie or playing game. So we spent all our time out walking around, eating, movie, shopping or taking long bus rides.. I must say that it can get quite tiring at times..

Though there were certain occasions I wish he could be there with me, it must be difficult to overcome the fear to do it for me. Although many people treat all his reasons as excuses, I tell myself he has already tried his best for us.


Thank you for being there with me for the past 19 months.
