a mad rush today! after teaching at LCMS, rushed to dc. i was very tired after the super busy week + lack of sleep. But luckily, I manged to slack thru the night, enjoying the show with my personal LCD Tv at Circle 1 :) Oh well, dislike working at dc for one simple reason - in gd terms with our management and we often chat during work made many aunties to hate me. I think WG is super insensitive n low on eq, he openly called my name n asked me a lamn qn during briefing in front of everyone. Not surprisingly i could feel the stares of those aunties. During debriefing, he joked with me AGAIN in front of EVERYONE. he does this all the time. Not to mention, FL and eileen chat with me as well. hai.. It's NOT my fault ok aunties?

Rumors and gossip spread very fast in dc. The task of helping my dear MS GRACE CHEE to get beauty's world cd from auntie violet was well-spread and someone came to ask me . Come on aunties, what has it got to do with u even if i purchase anything? She openly told me that many people dislike me and asked me WHY? hahaha of course i smartly act blur haha. I AM NOT DUMB. U ARE a double-headed snake! U r ONE of these nothing-better-to-do aunties. come on aunties, u chose not to reply my qn that is related to work and ignored me when we are partners made u look stupid and lowly-educated. in the end, u are at the losing end as i did my part BUT u refused to cooperate. anyway, i can't be bothered and waste my time on YOU aunties. I will only try ONCE and if u continue to show such childish behavior, don't point ur fingers at me when u get urself into trouble.

anyway, i think i should really quit dc for good. I need to rest, my body is really weak. I am down with sore throat and cough again. the BIG news that is spreading in dc by YOU made me think twice to chat with u in future. anyway i knew it long time ago u r super slow man.


ANYWAY. I was quite noti by asking my parents to come all the way to pick me up. I was too tired and lazy to take the 5 min walk from the bus stop back home. I dragged them for supper n of course I paid for it.

after the hairdo, bought psp + games + pineapple tarts + bee cheng xiang bbq pork (it's only S$30/kg in JB vs S$44++/kg in sg) + pork floss + cashew nuts cookies for PAUL! BUT i left the cashew nuts cookies in the cookie shop, oh man. will someone bring it out for me?

paul is gonna be sooo fat now. I'm so evil =X

wanted to get a pair of heels BUT after i remembered i have 14 pairs of BRAND NEW shoes, at least 10 new dresses n tons of brand new clothes + "a few" new bags + many in-tag accessories waiting for me at home, i dropped the terrible idea of shopping. so i waited patiently for carol (while she indulge in her usual shopping spree) in her (newly-made) friend's shop and watched the BEE movie. (upon my special request)

alright, the busy-ness is heating up and paul is officially working from mon! no more slacking at work or attending courses. oh no, he will be on shift work from mon, hope i will get used to it real soon.

carene mus b really proud of me that i went to school today for financial econs tutorial n even chinese economy lecture that has recording. I attended attentively during both sessions. half way during chinese economy, i was wondering how did i make it through the past 2.5years alone in ntu, moving around campus for classes all by myself. 3 more sem to go n i will be done! i missed carene! girl, pls come back soon. she is somewhere in the middle of the ocean... on a scholar-SHIP. haha mus be having fun girl. oh well, i will study hard and score well this sem. this sem seems more interesting for ALL my econs subjects. :) aza!

after school, met up with edwin for dinner this evening and we had a great time chatting and catching up. he is such a happy person, always smiling and laughing. he is so sweet to agree to eat at fish & co as i have craving for potatoes!!! i questioned him with lots of stuff relating to life issues and i was shocked to learn a couple of tricks from him.

i was told that i am able to apply for design-to-build hdb flats NOW without a marriage cert! since the flats will only b ready in 4-6years, it will just be in time when i plan to get married. bascially, i only have to pay a booking fee of $2K+ using cpf should i decide to book a unit. the other option was to pay $10 for the ballot and see if i'm lucky to get a unit. the benefit is that we will pay the property price of the current market price and NOT pay the price when the flat is ready. due to inflation, limited land, etc prices of flats will defintely increase in 4-6years times. WOW!!! it's time to go showroom shopping! :)

also, he taught me some tricks shld i go for holiday with paul alone n when my parents do not allow that to happen. so....

BOYS and GIRLS, according to edwin, he gathered friends who are going away on the same day around the same time to meet at the departure hall in the airport, so the whole group will enter the departure hall together n looks like a group trip. BUT when parents head home, the group walk towards their individual gates. this was what he did when he was dating his then-girlfriend (now-wife) smart isn't it?

dinner was on him n he sent me home. he is leaving for usa this friday on a holiday trip to meet his wife who is on a business trip. hope that he will be able to get my stuff for me from us :)

I missed being in states!

alright, time to do work, readings to read, textbooks to mug, teaching materials to prepare for thur's lessons and paul's ppt slides to prepare for! n i m hafing a migraine now. n i should slowly start preparing my essay which is due next wed. oh man. the real sabby is back in action!

Paul is afraid that i get bored or irritated from the busy schedule, he got me two more poohs, the clown and the elephant. I love baby elephant pooh, it's blue! I can't stop smiling when i look at them.

off i went to gather teaching materials over the weekends, browsing thru the books in a few music bookshop. Needless to say, yamaha has the most comprehensive collections of books BUT my student card is NO longer valid, hence I checked out at Kawai and was told I'm entitled to 20%! Yuppies! Headed to music essential (meridien hotel) and happened to see andy sim around, offer his discount card to me and decided to get a music teaching board BUT it contains 5 identical ones and cost $28+. i only needed ONE. After explaining and teaching him how to use the board to teach, he offered to buy the set and GAVE me ONE for FREE. wow!

in any way, my busy life is going to begin again. the start of school with more workload this sem (smartly me went to take up minor in education - no exams but tons of work to do), more music students will i b teaching, less ethan (luckily), usual with jeremy (i love teaching him, easy, near and he is smart) and some dc.. one more job i haf taken up.....dating..

i do have a feeling that j will assign me with lots of keyboard students!!! squeezing me dry BUT we shall see how, sabby will b firm n reject excess workload or pls just give me more commission.

can't wait to go back to my usual self of being soo busy after taking a long break of 7 months slacking.. at least my jan schedule is packed! feb most likely too :) aza!

and i'm ready for the brand new chinese new year :)

perhaps it's the weather, perhaps it's my cozy bed, perhaps it's my mood... whatever it is, i have been having good sleep every night and waking up early in the morning at around 8+..

and so for the past few days, i tried to fill my days with tasks to do..

read sat papers on sun morning n found an adv for music teacher in Balestier. I got shocked and stared at it. after i am sure that it reads balestier, immediately i dialed the number and heard a man's voice. introduce myself, gave my details, asked some qns, and when i found out that it's at shaw plaza, a 5min walk away from my house, i was delighted. told the man that i live very near to shaw plaza. he said he shld call me back within 2 days.

hours later in the evening.. he called!!!! arranged for an interview the next day (mon 5pm)

mon, i started the day with food and papers. proceeded to running errand for paul, called the bank for him.. id my time-table for this sem on excel, soon geraldine came online, we chatted nonsense before she left for school for lesson. supposedly i have a lecture today BUT i skipped it bcos firstly of the interview and secondly the journey will take 3hrs and the class is only 2hrs, i see no point in wasting my time to go for the first intro lecture. anyway help her do her tiny time-table for her diary. used a precious paper to print her time-table. BUT wasted a piece of my precious music paper i bought from japan due to measurement error. luckily, the 2nd piece came out prefect. i'm delighted. can't print mine yet, cos i am waiting for the interview's outcome and if successful, future music lessons have to be confirmed. did jan schedule for ethan. pack my clothes, refold my blouses from my cupboard, clean up the 2 bags i used over the weekend, put them out to air for a few hours before storage. happily intend to print lecture notes BUT none is available (lazy professors i have). so i could only print out course outlines! so i made small labels for my course files, print them, cut them, paste them. yeah! it's 3pm finally. feeling hungry, i made cup noodles and went to shower. watched the variety program by Jacky Wu while eating my noodles and by 4.30pm, changed n off for the interview.

it's a small music school. he turned up at only 5.45pm. it was a good interview. more of me interviewing him as my profile is quite clear and he seems to be quite impressed with my backgrounds. i shoot him with lots of questions n we shared a few new ideas for the school regarding keyboard. surprise to find out that i will be the ONLY actual keyboard teacher with qualified cert in keyboard (electone for my case). during the interview, msged paul to call the sch to check the rate for beginner's keyboard so i can roughly judge how much commission to ask for. in any case, he was very honest and told me the school's fee before i asked. after the interview and audtion... he offered me the job immediately, providing me with 50% commission. Don't WOW bcos it's NOT a lot. can earn lots more if i teach privately. but i just want to have the experience and a little income and the distance is a super plus point for me. plus it's difficult to find students who want to learn the keyboard. he joked, "after sch u can pop by, teach then walk home." haa he would be arranging classes for me next week and hope i have fun there. :)

all about love

it's a good movie. the story is touching. i cried.

it taught me how to treasure my love for he might just leave any one day. to make the most out of the time we have.

there's one thing i have never discussed with anyone in my family nor paul, but i told geraldine, my bestest friend, (wondering if she still remembers). anyway since i am 19 or 20 years old, i have decided to donate my organs except my eyes after my death if they are useful to other people who need them. love is what the world needs for her to be more peaceful.

oh it's 2008.

spent the last week slacking at home trying to recover from the never-seems-to-stop-cough..did went out to teach jeremy and ethan.other than that, just too lazy to move and enjoying the wonderful weather at home.

today will be the last day to slack at home and sch is starting NEXT WEEK! i miss paul. can't wait for out date tml to catch beauty world. i'm excited. have yet to decide which dress to wear tml, lots to choose from (including new ones) but the problem is i haf to teach tml morning at kawai, n that will mean restriction to the length of the dress, i ned to squat, stand, sit etc anyway shall decide tonight.

got to teach ethan tonight and babysit him since carol is going to catch beauty world this evening.

and the most amazing thing is my flat just shaked again, wonder where is having earthquake again. it was terrible and lasted for 5 seconds.
