a 5mins bus ride away from home is a place that made me change my mind of wanting to b a pri sch cher.. teaching @ sec sch may b better.. but i m giving myself a few months to make the choice..

i m quite lucky tt the hod maths wants me to cover this maths teacher's duty for every mon, tue, thur n fri (wed i haf classes the whole day) n off i started to teach two sec2 express classes...1st topic: variations! nv hear before but we learnt it sometime somewhere in sch.. anyway 1min b4 class, i asked one maths teacher to explain to me.. n zoom i went for class. haha but soo far, the class understood my lessons n answered the questions correctly. yahoo!!

she was quite nice to let me off at 1pm every thur so that i can rush to ntu for class.. life will get a little more busier..

ah..u r back!

Is'nt Ethan lovely? I spend most of my time with him , teaching him, sending him to school, watch him bath, watch him poo-poo (cos he doesnt wan to close the toilet door, even i told him thousands of time. He always talk to me while bathing/poo-pooing zzzz) n eating with him.. Sometimes he call me godma.. I love to watch him grow up, it doesn't matter if he is the top student in ACS , c n i jus wish that he will pass his exams. . n make it into Uni.. I guess for the next few years, I will still be teaching him.. the two other babies (nt the one in the picture, he is jus a neighbour while we were waiting for ethan's sch bus, we were playing with the baby) r also waiting for me to teach them.. yuppie! I love them!
n i went back to dc (finally!) yesterday after missing for more than 1 month.. though i went back secretly the first sat i returned to sg to visit wg.. the most common sentence that everyone said to me was, "Ah, u r back!" n some even said, "Gd life.. holiday soo long.." anyway FL told me that my face is rounder.. but Aunty Violet said that my secret visit I looked rounder.. haha thks leh..

Anyway this is a show I wanted to watch before going for my holiday, but mr antz has no time to watch with me.. n by the time we decided that we have time to watch it, there r no more tickets.. ALL tickets are SOLD-OUT..
ZY was v nice, he let me watched the entire show knowing that i love S tan's voice a lot..

i am quite taken care of @ dc.. by mostly..
Aunty violet, (the three guys) ZY, Roy n KX, wg n fl.. even security uncle!! i said HI to him yesterday n he said, "wah so long nv see u.." =) the rest of the pple (aunties) who seem to b nice to me, i shall b careful..

but it was quite disappointing as s tan is nt suitable for singing chinese music.. soo beng.. cmi man..the lead, george sang well...by evening, i was quite tired le.. so i slacked thru the evening show.. n was playing with my camera (again)

the show was 3hrs.. n it ended @ 11pm.. i din wanna walk to the bus stop to take a bus home, so i smartly sms my dad in the afternoon to ask him to pick me (anyway i always do that when i m lazy to walk to the bus stop).. hee

me: Papa, can u come and pick me @ 11pm at dc?
pa: (in chinese) Of course can, u top up petrol.
me: Ok then I go home myself.

pa called me but i cant pick up the phone..i called him during my dinner break n he jokkingly said, "ask u to top up petrol, then u go home by yourself" I laughed n said yalor.. pa said, "11pm ar? ok lar, i come n pick u."

n so being a super pampered only child at home, both of them came n pick me @ 11pm!! n we were home in just 8mins.. though a bus ride will only take 15mins.. i don wanna walk from the main road back home.. 3mins walk lor..

PS: For appointment, kindly arrange at least 2 weeks in advance or the chances r super duper low (almost 0) that i will entertain u..Last minute appointment will NOT b entertained unless it's YOUR wedding dinner or u r on the Sab's Special List that consist of only 4 very impt pple. Even mummy n daddy (nt in the list) haf to book me weeks before. So dear all, pls forgive me. =)

the start of the busy days

after slacking one month in US... the busy days started on the very next day i returned to sg..

it was lucky that i return home 2days earlier n as jeremy had his maths exam on 13aug.. we had crush courses of 6 chapters in 3 days.. 7 hours.. n he topped his class!!! 88/100.. sooo happy.. yahoo! ethan's chinese exam on 20 aug.. so after i settled jeremy, i went straight to ethan.. same thing, tution every day for at least 2hrs.. n the 2nd sun, i performed with nie band at holland v for some national day celebrations.. was teaching @ BHSS as well for 2 days.. soo every day i run here n there.. i am super duper tired ...

on day 11 n 12.. which is tml n day after, i am finally free to rest @ home.. but it's time to do sch work as well.. 2 weeks of work to catch up.. BUT.. c suddenly told me today that after ethan's chinese exam, ACS is gg to haf surprise eng n maths exam these 2 weeks.. i m no super girl man.. i don care, i m gg to rest tml, tue then cheong to teach him.. he can do it one.. let's work towards it together..

got to go back to swspe on wed to arrange for next concert n time to go dc n show my face.. wg kept asking me to go back.. time to help him...

wah.. soo many things to do.. i am no super girl man.. jia you! *aza aza fighting!

VA Beach, 2-4 July

N of course i din enter the water.. i was on the beach suntanning for 2 hrs.. it's a miracle.. i actually did that.. hee
there are many activities on VA beach, to get discounted tixs, head down to Vacation Market along the boardwalk! 2nd day, i stayed in the hotel till 5pm b4 i bear to leave for the beach as i do not like afternoon sun.. Me, Grandma n Uncle went cycling aft.. but i was the one pedaling most of the time lor.. zzzzthere was a 25 1/2 street !! so it doesnt only happen in harry potter.. should u tour US by car .. jus stay at any LaQuinta Hotels..Clean n affordable with Wireless n Breakfast.. we love LaQuinta!

VA, 27July - 2 Aug (US)

We stayed in Uncle Bill's house in VA.. this place is super duper ulu.. but his house is super duper BIG.. in the forest.. There's nth around this area except trees n mre trees.. at night, u hear all kinds of animal sounds.. it's a nice place to relax n slack.. bascially, i helped grandma to prepare meals,washed the dishes n go cycling while derek n dinah helped out ard the house.. from cleaning up the pool to trimming the trees.. everynight after dinner, uncle drove us to MAD HOUSE to use the internet n we will hang ard till 11pm n drove back to slp. they played pool n table tennis in MAD HOUSE though there was a pool table in uncle bill's house. We simply jus wanna get out of the FOREST!! hee..

30July..
My ONLY proper western meal in USA.. bcos we ate chinese food most of the time as grandma needs to eat rice. the mashed potatoes was superb! everything was yummy!
After lunch, we went to tour the house. The package was US$21 (Food + Entrance Fee)
Inner pockets used by ladies in the past.. n today, we had pockets sewed into our pants..
It was sooo HOT.. everyone went out of the car to look at the grapes n i refused to leave the car.. uncle n grandma used reverse psychology on me oso doesnt work.. in the end, dinah volunteered to shelter me (wif my umbrella) to get me out of the car..of course i applied lots of sunblock lar haha but i sheltered myself in the end.. n after taking THIS photo.. i ran back into the car.. soo hot lor..

Washington D.C 26July (US)

After arriving in D.C n checking into the hotel that is right behind the White House, Dinah, Derek n I went to explore this area around 2pm. It was soo hot, i melted. Both of them din allow me to bring my umbrella n so i had to depend on my Yankee Cap n 2 layer of sunblocks..
With a D.C. map, we explore d this place by FOOT...

First stop, the House Where Lincoln Died (this is the name of the house.. wat a funny name)
The FBI building!! The building was closed but the lights were on in some units. a MUST-VISIT place in D.C.

After 2 hrs, Dinah n I CMI (cannt make it) le.. it's simply too hot n so we walked back to the hotel n slp.. Derek went out again to explore the rest of D.C..
Uncle, Derek n I walked to Chinatown (20mins away) to get dinner for everyone @8++
Dinner was @ Chinatown Express, it's hidden in a corner.. Cheap n big portion of food! I paid for this meal abt US$40 n derek paid for the tips. (15% of the total bill - US$6)

Verdict: D.C has many museums n most are FREE n super BIG.. prepare to b melted under the sun during the summer when in D.C.. other than that, there's nth much in D.C.. jus a place to see all the museums..
